Main Hospital Line. 536-5000 AS THE PRESIDENT of a rural health organization, I am proud of the way Adventist Health Sonora serves our community. As many small towns across the country have seen their hospitals close, we continue to recruit more doctors and provide a breadth of services that is unique for a rural area like ours. And now, in the midst of a pandemic, my pride has not ceased. Our team has planned tight protocols, procured important resources and prepared for any scenario as the surge of COVID-19 makes its way throughout the world. We are ready to care for our community. Our staff has adapted to the situation and developed ways to care for patients while protecting the health and safety of our community, with options for drive-up services and virtual visits that enable the social distancing recommended to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I also have a tremendous amount of pride in our community, where the outpouring of support for our front-line staff has filled my heart with gratitude. I speak for everyone at Adventist Health Sonora when I say that we love our amazing community. Our calling is to serve on the front lines, but we do it with our whole hearts for Tuolumne and Calaveras counties. I am grateful for our staff for their skill and dedication and I am grateful for the patients we serve as we all make sacrifices to work through this together. Blessings, Michelle Fuentes President A community comes together
