Main Hospital Line. 536-5000 EXPRESSING GRATITUDE is critical for our emotional and spiritual health, especially with all of the turmoil we’ve experienced in the last year. During November, campuses throughout Adventist Health celebrate Gratitude Week, to acknowledge the people we appreciate and focus our hearts on all of the goodness that surrounds us. I am grateful for the many ways our community continues to adapt to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the ways we can help our community thrive is to contain the spread of COVID-19 and make it our goal to reach the “Minimal” risk level on California’s tier-based monitoring system. Each of us has a role to play in preventing widespread illness, saving lives, and keeping our local businesses open and safe. Improving the wellness of our community is at the heart of everything we do at Adventist Health. Our mission is to live God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope. By encouraging healthy behaviors, like frequent handwashing, wearing a mask, and keeping a six-foot distance from individuals outside our bubbles, we can all live God’s love and protect the health and wellness of those around us. As I give thanks for our community, I am reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul: “In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy.” Philippians 1:4 I know my grateful heart is echoed by associates throughout Adventist Health Sonora. We are blessed to care for you and your families and wish you a blessed holiday season. In gratitude, Michelle Fuentes President Adventist Health Sonora Praying in joy and gratitude
